The SPC Double Window Sight Glass is designed to provide the means of visual inspection for process operations and plant protection. The straight-through windows allow the operator to view the immediate flow and monitor pipeline application colour and condition.
SPC Manufacturing PFA Lined Double Window sight glasses are very robust with toughened Borosilicate Glass windows up to 25mm thick depending on size to DIN7080 providing pressure performance up to 19 bar g. The body is a PFA-lined ductile iron with the liner locked in place with T-shaped grooves machined into the casting, providing integrity even at elevated temperatures. The choice of PFA and Borosilicate Glass materials are selected to suit highly corrosive processes and ensure long service life and reliability for our customers.
The “SPC” full view sight glasses’ construction provides 360-degree process viewing with a pressure rating of up to 10 bar, It is manufactured from heavy wall borosilicate glass tube with Virgin PTFE Seat with heavy-duty Forged bar stock flanges for use in the most demanding applications.
The construction makes the product extremely strong and capable of withstanding a significant amount of mishandling. The tie rod design is unique – enabling adjustment of the sight glass sealing following any maintenance activity without removing it from the pipeline. The product is manufactured in a fixed length range.
